In 2025, the Live Well Foundation of South Lake transitioned to a Private Foundation. Unlike public charities, private foundations typically do not rely on public fundraising. Instead, the Live Well Foundation of South Lake is guided by leadership that stewards a substantial investment portfolio, allowing Live Well Foundation of South Lake to support impactful projects over time through investments.
At Live Well Foundation, we believe that better health starts right here—at home in south Lake County. As a private foundation, we are dedicated to investing in the people of South Lake County today and for generations to come. Our return on investment is simple: better health, for life.
By reviewing the local Health Needs Assessment, Lake County Community Health Improvement Plan, and Healthy 2030 initiatives, we identify the most pressing healthcare challenges facing our community—and invest in solutions to meet them.
