Easterseals Florida continues to make a meaningful impact by connecting individuals with the resources and support they need to thrive. At a recent Love Groveland event, their Health Navigator met Megan—a driven young woman living with Dyscalculia, ADHD, and Anxiety—who came ready to build a better future. Within days, she had completed her intake and started a personalized case plan with Easterseals’ guidance.
Megan is currently enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program at Lake Tech and has found creative ways to adapt in a numbers-heavy field. With Easterseals’ help, she became an official Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) client, is working to update her psychological evaluations, and is receiving support to share her IEP with Lake Tech’s Disabilities Office. She’s also exploring driving coaching services to help her overcome anxiety and gain independence—critical steps toward long-term self-sufficiency and employment.
