Stuckey Community Improvement Group Is Building Something Special
The Stuckey Community Improvement Group is doing exactly what they said they would do — and then some.
With grant support from the Live Well Foundation, Stuckey CIG has officially entered the early stages of the next phase of their Community Empowerment Center: the enclosure of the carport. The contractor’s estimate is in hand, and both an electrician and plumber are scheduled to provide their final estimates, putting the team right on track to enter the active construction phase by the close of Q1.
This is what community-led investment looks like — organized, intentional, and moving with purpose. Stuckey CIG is turning resources into real, lasting infrastructure for the people they serve, and the Live Well Foundation is proud to play a supporting role in that story.
The Empowerment Center is about to become even more empowering. We cannot wait to see it.
