We’re honored to celebrate yesterday’s groundbreaking moment for the Leslie B. Roberts Community Garden, a shared space for hope, health, and healing — right in the heart of Groveland.
Thanks to the vision of Libby’s Legacy Breast Cancer Foundation and support from community partners, this garden will soon be home to one of their signature Pink Ribbon Gardens — a 29×17 ft raised bed in the shape of a pink ribbon, co-founded by breast cancer thriver and Grammy Award winner Melissa Etheridge. Designed to promote plant-based cancer prevention, this space will serve as both a symbol and a resource for wellness in our community.
This project is a testament to what’s possible when neighbors come together, and we are proud to support it through our grants.
Gratitude to the many hands and hearts making this garden grow:
City of Groveland, FL – Municipal Government
Live Well Foundation of South Lake
Full Spectrum Professional Services
South Lake Chamber of Commerce (FL)
Together, we’re planting the seeds for a healthier tomorrow.
