At 64, one South Lake resident decided it wasn’t too late to take charge of his health—and the results speak for themselves.
After completing not just one, but two wellness cohorts through the Orlando Health Choose One Program, he lowered his triglycerides by 43 points and brought his HbA1c down to 6.0—key strides in managing his risk for heart disease and diabetes.
But his journey didn’t stop there.
He joined a local fitness center, attended meal planning classes, and continues working one-on-one with a registered dietitian each month to build lasting habits.
We’re so proud of his commitment and grateful to support the programs helping make stories like this possible.
